I get to embrace the imperfections of the of the different types of wood and recreate or create many different types of home decor for the home and the final product creates a warm and cozy feel in any room.
Reclaimed wood is found from many old structures like buildings or barns and can often feel the story behind the wood’s old nail holes or the faded paint and the worn textures.
I personally enjoy the natural and earthly tones of the different woods but others like color, so the options are wide open for the asking! It is even beautiful to mix a little modern with a little rustic to certain projects like burlap and bows as my wife calls it. and we can just let our imagination run wild.
there is such an immense feeling of accomplishment to take a raw piece of wood and complete a wood working project being an original or a project you discovered from a magazine or woodworking book.
